Peteris Aglonietis and fr. Artur Modzelevski. They lived in parish house in Kr. Valdemara Street near the cathedral of Liepaja.

After some months friars made decision to build up their own church and monastery. Supporting by bishop A.A. Brumanis and considering dominican's community needs the place of building was chosen in Jaunliepaja. The monastery was stared to build up immediately. The opening Ceremony of monastery was held in spring of 2000.

During this time fr. Vilhelms Lapelis was nominated as coadjutor Bishop of Liepaja. To fulfill his new mission as coadjutor Bishop he had to left community. Two brothers fr. Oskar Jablonski and fr. Augustins Lapelis came from Riga with design to support and strengthen the community in Liepaja. Another friar Janis Aglonietis serve as dean outside of monastery in Salaspil's parish near Riga.

Every day friars celebrate holy Mass and pray in monastery's public chapel.
